Pilar Miranda came to the Urban Special Education Leadership collaborative with a passion for the belief that all children have the right to a quality education and respect. With 23 years of experience in customer service, Pilar has a talent for problem solving, especially when unpredictable situations arise. During her time as a travel agent, Pilar exercised high levels of customer service with an orientation to detail and intrinsic talent for forging excellent customer-client relations through her strong interpersonal skills.
Pilar currently serves as the Member Service Coordinator for the Urban Special Education Leadership Collaborative. In this role, she is in charge of membership, partner/sponsor relations, accounting and bookkeeping. She prides herself on providing exceptional customer service to our members by assisting them in doing their best work in school districts to ultimately make a positive impact on children across the nation.
In her spare time, Pilar is an experienced traveler, enjoys reading, going to the beach and most importantly, spending time with family and friends. Pilar holds a BA in Communications and Speech from Suffolk University.
